Lorene Deeds, 87, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2021, at Heritage Nursing Home after a long battle with dementia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Deeds Sr.; and son, Arnold Deeds Jr.
Lorene is survived by daughter, Rhonda Winn; husband, Wayne; daughter, Launda Terry; daughter, Karene Patterson; husband, Duane; daughter, Sue Bahndorf; husband, Jeff; and daughter, Shawn Deeds. She had 25 beautiful grandchildren and 17 amazing
great-grandchildren.
She was very happy and caring and always made people smile, she will be greatly missed. As she wished there will be no services for Lorene. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
A special thanks goes out to all the nurses at Heritage Nursing Home and to all the wonderful Hospice workers.
