LOREN WAYNE STIEGELMEYER

Loren Wayne Stiegelmeyer, 57, formerly of Vinton, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at his residence following a sudden illness.
Loren was born Feb. 28, 1960, in Vinton to Howard and Ellen Stiegelmeyer.
He was a graphic designer and employed by ESP 3. In his leisure, he enjoyed wood and pumpkin carving, biking and music. He was a member of the Cedar Valley Wood Carvers Club. Loren also loved hanging out with friends.
He is survived by his children, Kelsey Stiegelmeyer of Galva, Ill., and Drew Stiegelmeyer of Cedar Rapids; and his mother, Ellen Stiegelmeyer of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard, on April 11, 2017.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, at Phillips Funeral Home, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton. Private committal services will be held at Bishop Cemetery near Marengo.
