LORALYN JEAN RILEY

Loralyn Jean Riley passed away very early on Nov. 11, 2021, at The Gardens in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was married to Wayne Riley for 68 years.
She was born on a ranch near Oelrichs, S.D., on Sept. 25, 1933. She was the daughter of Henry and Dora (Peterson) Wilson. She graduated from Chadron Preparatory
School at the Chadron State Teacher's College in Chadron, Neb.
She was an avid reader and seamstress and will be remembered by her children and grandchildren for the quilts she made for each one.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; her children, Roger (Susan) Riley, Warren (Shelly) Riley, Raelene (Mark) Wilson and Malinda Riley; her grandchildren, Rick (Aimee) Riley, Ryan (Grace) Riley, Robyn (Matt) Martinez, Dionne Riley, Abbey Riley, Sarah (Erkai) Watson, David Wilson and Daniel (Haley) Wilson; and her great-grandchildren, Emma Riley, Hollis and Garnet Riley, and Alethea and Evanthe Watson. She is also survived by her Humiston, Greenwood and Towe nieces and nephews, as well as her sister-in-law and closest neighbor of several decades, Glenice Towe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two half-brothers, Robert Humiston and Charles Humiston; and a sister, Marilyn Greenwood.
There will be a small graveside service for the family.
