Leona L. Longmuir, 84, of Arlington, Iowa, died on Saturday morning, April 17, 2010, at Maple Crest Manor at Fayette, Iowa.
Services: 3 p.m. Saturday at the St. John Lutheran Church in Arlington, Iowa, with the Rev. Paul Fohs officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Arlington and after 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Interment: Taylorsville Cemetery, Arlington.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.

Leona is survived by two sons, Bob (Jan) Longmuir of Clarksville, Iowa, and Ron (Rosemary) Longmuir of Manchester, Iowa; a daughter, Mila (Pastor Kim) Smith of Shell Rock, Iowa; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, C. Merlin (Caroline) Klingman of Volga, Iowa; and a sister, Corrine Roys of Elkader, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert A. Longmuir Sr. on Aug. 26, 1995; a son, James Longmuir in 1973; and a brother, Lee Roy Klingman.
