Lois Verdow 86, of Bethany Home, Dubuque, formerly of Marion, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Committal services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 30, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Marion, Iowa. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
Lois was born on Sept. 29, 1934, in Norway, Iowa, the daughter of Ermund and Anna Marie (Becker) Butz. She married Arnold Verdow on Sept. 3, 1955. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1982.
Lois was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ione Arnold and Darlene Hunter; her brother, Dale Butz; and very special friend, Rev. Keith L. Birch.
