Lois Jean Titlbach, 84, of Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Brosh Chapel.
Lois was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Fennimore, Wis., the daughter of Velma Weinbrenner. She married Joseph Titlbach on Dec. 29, 1948, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fennimore. Lois worked for many years at Wilson Foods until she retired.
She enjoyed dancing, making crafts, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Lois is survived by her husband of more than 65 years, Joseph; her children, Diana (Gene) Strother and Ronald Titlbach, both of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren and 12 great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her daughter, Cheryl Parsons; and her grandson, Lucious C. Prince Jr.
