Lois Mae Waller, 86, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 3, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital following a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at
Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will
be held on Tuesday, March 8,
at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to
7 p.m. Burial: Cedar
Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include her
sons, Gary (Monette) Waller of Marion, Iowa, and Russell (Sheryl) Waller of Marion, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Tim (Mary Jo) Waller of Altoona, Iowa, Jami Waller of Marion, Iowa, and Shanna (Spencer) Stumpf of North Liberty, Iowa.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clayton Charles Waller; and her brothers, Glenn (Sharon) Frasher and Harold (Pat) Frasher.
Lois was born Nov. 30, 1935, in Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy (Neidy) Frasher. She was united in marriage to Clayton Charles Waller on June 15, 1958, in Troy Mills, Iowa. Lois was a nurse for St. Luke's Hospital, a sales representative for Avon and volunteered at Linn-Mar Schools. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion, where she helped coordinate funeral luncheons. She enjoyed crafts, traveling, bingo and spending time with family.
