Lois E. Larson, 88, of Swisher, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the Solon Care Center. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may gather at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday before the graveside service.
Survivors include a brother, Dale Nederhoff of Galena; a sister, Betty Mehmen of Hastings, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was born July 20, 1928, in Grundy Center, the daughter of Albert and Catherine Neessen Nederhoff. She married Seth L. Larson on May 28, 1949, in Cedar Rapids. Seth passed away in 1983.
Lois worked at Turner Microphone for many years and later at the Swisher Bank for several years. She enjoyed boating with Seth on Lake Macbride, watching TV and was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family and many friends.
