Lois Ann Hahn, of Marion, fell asleep in death on Friday, March 17, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital following a brief illness.
Lois was born Jan. 30, 1935, the eldest daughter of Max and Pauline Hahn.
She is survived by one sister, Susan Wilford of Marion; and two nieces, DeAnn Wilford of Cedar Rapids and Debra Milota of San Ramon, Calif.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Pauline Hahn; her sister, Irlene; and her brother, Max.
Lois graduated from Wilson High School in 1953 and Coe College in 1957. Before her baptism in 1999 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Lois had made many changes in her life, and at the time of her death, was a member of the local Pioneer Avenue Congregation. Lois had been a resident of Winslow House Care Center for more than
2 1/2 years.
A memorial service will be held for Lois on Saturday, March 25, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7121 Mount Vernon Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids. Refreshments will be served afterward. All are invited to stay and spend some time reminiscing with family and friends.
