Lois Ellen Curtis (Welsh), 84, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Services were held April 26 at Chaparral Christian Church in Scottsdale. Robert Herndon officiated.
Survivors include her children, Robert Stinnett, Shelly Longerbeam, Lacy Curtis-Ward, John Curtis and Ashley Curtis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maury Curtis; and siblings, Dorothy, Evelyn, Jane, Chuck and Bob (Welsh).
Lois Ellen Curtis was born June 13, 1933, in Cedar Rapids. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and a wonderful person. She will be dearly missed by all.
Maury and Lois were married for 37 years. They lived in Cedar Rapids for several years and then moved to Marble Falls, Texas. In 2004, they moved to Scottsdale.
