Lois Lorraine Conway, 88, died peacefully Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at Mercy Iowa City. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tipton. Burial will follow in Tipton Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton.
A memorial fund for the Iowa City Hospice has been established.

Lois was born March 2, 1926, in Cedar County, Iowa, the daughter of Peter Merle and Elizabeth Mae Chapman Laucamp. On July 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Joseph James Conway in Davenport.
Lois was office manager for Cedar Manor Nursing Home for 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Tipton, charter member of VFW Auxiliary, Tipton, member of Tipton Woman's Club, St. Mary's Guild, Tipton Study Club and a member of the graduating Tipton High School class of 1944.
Lois is survived by her two daughters, Patti Jo (Ed) Novak of Welton, Iowa, and Teresa (Doug) Krob) of Tipton; grandchildren, Shawn Sulzner, Tim Sulzer, Mike Novak, Katie Novak, Erin Hoose and Noah Krob; great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Sulzner, Kolton Sulzner, Reilly Sulzner, Emmett and Oscar Hoose; sister, Clarice Glenney of Wilton; brothers, Robert Laucamp of Wilton, and William Laucamp of Moscow, Iowa; and special friend, Don Hansen of Wilton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Ida Mae Kroger and Florence Cooling.
