Lloyd Louis Bergfeld, 93, of Lamont, Iowa, passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Buchanan County Health Center.
Survivors include his long-time and best friend, Ellen Gaffney of Hazleton; a sister, Linda Sullivan of Lamont; sisters-in-law, JoAnne Lehmann of Dubuque, Jean Bergfeld of Aurora and Carolyn Bergfeld of Lamont; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, with the Rev. John Haugen officiating.
Visitation: 9 to 10:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Strawberry Point.
Interment with military rites: 1:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at St. Albert Catholic Cemetery, Lamont.
