Lloyd Allen Jones, 76, of Solon, Iowa passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. The family is being assisted by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Lloyd was born on March 9, 1949, in Mechanicsville, Iowa, the son of Lester and Margaret (Spencer) Jones. After high school, he began his career with ADM. Lloyd was united in marriage to Carol LaGrange on October 10, 2010, in Toddville, Iowa. Together, they shared 20 years of radiant love and laughter.
Lloyd enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, traveling, attending auctions and garage sales, and spending time with family and friends. He was funny, outgoing, and vivacious. We will always remember his handsome smile and caring personality.
He is survived by his wife, Carol LaGrange-Jones; 4 stepchildren, Eric (Jackie) LaGrange, Brant (Shannon) LaGrange, Brice (Tricia) LaGrange, and Ryan (Sarah) LaGrange; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers, Ervin and Art Jones; and many loving extended nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Lloyd was preceded by his parents, and 2 sons, David Jones and John Paul Jones.
