Listebarger, Margaret E.

Margaret E. Listebarger, 87, of 607 High St., Chippewa Falls, Wis., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, June 28, 2011, in Eau Claire, Wis. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at Central Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be held Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories from 10 a.m. until time of graveside service. Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, Wis., is serving the family.

She was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she graduated from McKinley High School. Margaret married F. Keith Listebarger on Oct. 22, 1949, in Cedar Rapids. They resided in Fairfax until moving in 1960 to Cedar Rapids, where they resided until moving to the Milwaukee, Wis., area in 1962. She has resided in Chippewa Falls since 1992.

Survivors include two daughters, Jean Ann (Terry) Wells of Chippewa Falls, Wis., and Jeanette (Mike) Thunder of Madison, Wis.; three grandchildren, Christopher (Betsy) Wells of Winona, Minn., Nathan (Karyn) Wells of River Falls, Wis., and Amy Wells of Eau Claire, Wis,; two great-grandchildren, Benna and Oliver Wells; two sisters-in-law, Gwen Hesser of Cedar Rapids and Jean (Bob) Humphrey of Ames; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith, in October 1970; her parents; a son, Robert Charles, in infancy; one sister, Katherine Enright; and one brother, Jay W. Hesser Jr.
