Lisa M. Henderson, 31, the daughter of Denny and Roxann (Esch) Henderson, Wexford, Penn. and formerly of Coggon and Independence, died September 8, 2009 at her home in Cranberry Twp, Penn.
She is survived by her parents; her sister, Tricia (Paul Lombardi) Henderson, Akron, Ohio; Grandmothers, Waneitta Henderson, Marion, and JoAnn Esch, Independence, Aunts and Uncles; Steve (Jackie) Henderson, Anamosa, Roger (Debbie) Henderson, Coggon, IA., Debbie (Don) Curry, Steve (Patty) Esch, Kathy (Doug) Holt, Brad (Laurie) Esch, and Jenny Reuther all of Independence; Cousins, Jolene Colpo, Round Rock, Texas, Steven Henderson, Stanhope, N.J., Lynette Paulus, Greer, S.C., Jason Henderson, Walker, Jesse Henderson, Hamilton, N.Y., Barry Hoover, Independence, Heidi Guse, Cedar Falls, Autumn Pino, Maquoketa, Abby McMahon, Wauconda, Ill., Ashlea Burt, Waterloo, Austin Holt, Independence, Regan and Dylan Reuther, Independence, and seventeen second cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Harold Esch and Harold Henderson; and an uncle, Scott Esch.
Lisa was born on September 23, 1977, in Winona, Minn. She was a 1996 graduate of North Allegheny High School, and received a bachelors and master's degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburg, Penn. She was employed as a special-education teacher for the past nine years.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 19th at Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, Independence with burial in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery,
Independence friends may call from 9 a.m. till Services Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to: The Lisa M. Henderson Memorial Fund, c/o Reiff Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Third Ave. SE; Independence, IA 50644 with funds to be used for Autism Speaks, and for ASPCA.
