Lintz, Earl C. 'Bud'
Earl C. “Bud” Lintz, 84, was called by his Lord Jan. 9, 2012.
Born, raised, and wed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Earl moved to the Clearwater, Fla., area with his loving wife, Dorothy, in December 1983, following his service in the U.S. Army and career at FMC (formerly Link-Belt) Corporation for over 30 years. For the next 20 years he was a licensed real estate broker.
His favorite pastimes included cheering the Gators, Hawkeyes, and Tampa Bay Bucs; enjoying Post Corner Pizza with his family; and watching classic movies and modern comedies such as Friends and Two-and-a-Half-Men.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy.
Surviving are son, John Lintz; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and David Klima; grandchildren, Krystal (Jeremy) and Andrew; and brother-in-law and best-friend, Eddie Walter.
Earl's unforgettable laugh and memorable spirit will endure in his family's and friends' hearts forever - he will be greatly missed and loved always.
Funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor, Fla. Interment will follow at Curlew Hills Memorial Gardens, Palm Harbor, Fla.
