Linda Welp, 79, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, March 1, 2025, at her home. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Linda was born March 27, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of William and Effie (McGarity) Fuller. She attended Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. On December 27, 1973, she was united in marriage to Larry Welp in Cedar Rapids. Linda raised her family while helping her husband operate Jim’s Food in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed working out at Curves, playing cards and being with her AH friends.
Survivors include her children, Jeanne (Chad) McLaud of Vinton, Iowa, Ken Reichle, Linda Njau, and Michael Welp, all of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Tschetschot of South Chesterfield, Virginia, Jim (Anita) Fuller of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Bill (Linda) Fuller Jr. of Portland, Oregon; and sister-in-law, Irene Fuller of Litte Rock, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry L. Welp; son, Jeff Reichle; brother, Jerry Fuller; and brother-in-law, George Tschetschot.
