Linda K. Reese, 69, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. A visitation will be Monday, Feb. 13, at 9:30 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Funeral services will start at 10:30 a.m., also in the Chapel of Memories.
Linda was born March 10, 1947, the daughter of Forrest and Helen (Dixon) Mathews in Ottumwa, Iowa. Linda was united in marriage to Jack Reese in 1965 and to this union two children were born. Along with being a homemaker she worked at Century Engineering and Chesapeake Packaging. She enjoyed camping, feeding the birds, and spending time with family, close friends and friends at the Iowa State Fair campgrounds.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Stanley Duane.
Left to cherish Linda's memories are her husband of 52 years, Jack Reese; daughter, Jacqueline (Greg) Wolfe; son, Darin (Robyn); grandchildren, Tabitha, Lindsey, Darian, Dalaney and DeForest; sisters, Shirley and Kathy; brothers, Phillip and Ronald; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
