Linda R. Merrigan, 99, a resident of Willow Gardens in Marion, died there on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015. Services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by three brother, Raymond, and Arthur Haar, both from Yankton, S.D., and Arnold of Newhall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Linda was born on April 12, 1916, in Menno, S.D., the daughter of Fredrick and Emma Heckenlaible Haar. She married Donald M. Merrigan on Jan. 14, 1938, in Yankton, S.D. Don passed away in 2001.
Linda worked at Rockwell Collins as an inspector and retired from there after more than 19 years of service.
Linda and her husband, Don, enjoyed travel, camping and wintering in Arkansas. She was a wonderful wife, and sister and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
