Linda Marie Ludvicek, 59, of Swisher, Iowa, passed into the loving arms of her Savior, in the early morning hours, on August 18, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at Castek Cemetery, four miles west of Swisher on 120th St., NW. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.
Linda was born on Dec. 15, 1961, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence "Jr" and Karen (Boley) Stonebraker. She graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1980. On Aug. 22, 1980, Linda married Paul Ludvicek in Ottumwa, Iowa. Linda worked as a waitress at the Brick Haus Restaurant in the Amana Colonies. She ran track in high school and later in life ran marathons. She also loved to collect porcelain figurines of black and white cows. At an early age, Linda put her faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Linda is survived by her husband, Paul Ludvicek of Swisher; son, Jeremy Ludvicek of Swisher; her parents, Clarence "Jr" and Karen Stonebraker of Bloomfield; three sisters, Sheila (Denny), Teresa and Lisa (Steve); two nieces, Megan (Shaun) and Alicia; great-nephew, Michael; three great-nieces, Morgan, Mackenzie and Mallory; and her companion and loyal dog, Buddy.
Linda was preceded in death by a great nephew, Logan.
