LINDA M. MORRIS
Center Point
Linda M. Morris, 71, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, with her family by her side, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A private family service has been held. Burial: Dunkard Cemetery, Toddville, Iowa. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Marcie) Brewer of Center Point and Ricky Brewer of Marion, Iowa; and grandchildren, Jacob and Wyatt Brewer and Taylor Mae Brewer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell; her grandson, Nathaniel Brewer; and sisters, Bernita Fee and Evelyn Buchtela.
Linda was born on Jan. 20, 1946, in Center Point, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy (Bascom) Boyles. On June 22, 1996, she married Darrell Morris in Toddville, Iowa. She worked at Quaker Oats for 28 years. She was drawn to the ocean and loved to travel to any coast. Linda was a simple person and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. She spent quiet time crocheting and staying organized. Her two grandsons were her world.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Linda's daughter-in-law, Marcie, who was just like a daughter to her, and also to the entire hospice staff on the sixth floor at St. Luke's.
