Linda Lou Hollandsworth, 74, of Mount Vernon, Iowa, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Private inurnment will take place at the Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service assisted the family.
Linda was born August 12, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Lois (Johnson) Westveer. She worked as a seamstress for Polaris while also taking on independent projects in her spare time. Linda found joy in crocheting, solving puzzles, reading, and online gaming. She cherished her time outdoors, whether exploring nature or relaxing at the beach.
Survivors include her daughters, Cassandra Hollandsworth of Center Point, Iowa, Karlynne “Missy” (Pat) Birmele of South Bend, Indiana, LaDonna Fluharty of Constantine, Michigan, and Tracy (JW) Stanger of Millersburg, Indiana; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Anna Farber, Peggy Westveer, Cherie Norman, and Monica White.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
