Linda L. Wilcox, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on April 14, 2022, at her home after a brief illness. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. Funeral service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23, at the funeral home. Entombment: Linwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Cedar Rapids.
Linda was born on Dec. 23, 1960, the daughter of Roy and Delores (Christensen) Anderson. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1979 and attended Kirkwood Community College. Linda was united in marriage to Myron "Marty" Wilcox on July 2, 1988, in Cedar Rapids. She was an office manager at Richardson-Hanson & Hotz Insurance in Mount Vernon, Iowa. She liked to crochet and do cross stitch. Linda enjoyed attending craft shows and had a fascination of lighthouses. She loved her family very much and she will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her loving husband, Marty Wilcox of Cedar Rapids; children, Jeffrey (Allie) Wilcox of Wisconsin, Jessica (Sheldon) Maly of Wisconsin and Ty Wilcox (McKenzie Holst) of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Carol (Edward) Fletcher of Woodbury, Tenn., and Patricia (Lewis) Schmitt of Springville, Iowa; and daughter-in-law, Anna Walker Yates of Cedar Rapids.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Delores Anderson; son, Jeremie "JP" Wilcox; brother, Tom Anderson; and sister, Barb Anderson.
