LINDA KAY (SWEET) MALLY

Linda Kay (Sweet) Mally, 72, lost her battle with cancer on Feb. 19, 2019.
Linda was born on Nov. 3, 1946, and grew up in Cedar Falls. Graduated from Cedar Falls High in 1964. She helped open the first woman's shelter in Rochester, Minn.
She is survived by her children, Chris Canfield, Cheri Canfield, Ted Canfield and Marc (Jennifer) Mally; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Eugene "Allen" Sweet; mother, Dorthy (Berhans) Sweet; and brother, Larry Sweet.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life in the spring. We will post arrangements when it gets closer on Linda's Facebook.
