Linda Joy Jensen of Iowa City passed away Feb. 5, 2015.
Linda was born Dec. 2, 1939, in Jefferson City, Mo., to Elsie and Robert P. Turner. She was a 1958 graduate of West Branch High School.
Linda is survived by her husband, Steve Jensen; her four children, Jeri (Tom) Freeman, Scott (Mary Jo) Poulson-Small, Doug (Guylia) Small and Tobi (Kole) Billick; her brother, Robert L. (Jan) Turner; and many dearly loved grandchildren (16) and great-grandchildren (10).
Linda was incredibly devoted to her family and her pets.
Linda also was passionate about many other things in life. She was an avid reader of the books in her extensive library, loved to travel, was a fervent collector of antique furniture, glassware and cookie jars, and was an advocate for animals and animal rights.
A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Henderson-Barker Funeral Home, 201 Pedersen St., West Branch.
