Deep River
Linda Geiger, 82 of Deep River passed away Monday morning, June 30, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. After a courageous six-year battle with cancer, the most wonderful, wife, mother and grandmother went to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the United Church of Deep River. Burial will be held in the Golden Rod Cemetery in Deep River. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma with the family present from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Church of Deep River, Deep River Fire Department or the Morrison-Schrader American Legion Post 296 of Deep River. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.
