Linda Diane Fortune, 63, of Homosassa, Fla., passed away Feb. 19, 2014, at the Hospice of Citrus County Hospice House in Lecanto, Fla., after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 14, 1950, to Shirley Elsberry and the late Charles "Chuck" Elsberry, in Boone, Iowa.

Linda was a loving wife, daughter, sister, mother and grandma.

Linda spent 25+ years as a Realtor in Cedar Rapids and upon retirement relocated to the Florida area in 2010.

Linda was a very active person who loved her husband, Rod; spending time with family and friends and relaxing in the outdoors.

Survivors include the love of her life and husband of 44 years, Rod Fortune; her children, Shane (Andrea) Fortune of Ann Arbor, Mich., Nicki Kra-mer of Cedar Rapids and Jon (Trisha) Fortune of Cedar Rapids; mother, Shirley Elsberry of Waterloo; sister, Peggy Pape of Waterloo; grand-children, Zach (21), Madison (19), Cameron (16), Tayva (7), Callum (5) and Beckett (2); and many beloved close family and friends.

Private services will be arranged for the family at the Homosassa Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes.
