Linda Faye Herring, 81, of Tiffin, Iowa, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Linda is survived by her children, Julie Mougin, Bobby (Misty) Herring, Chris Herring, Lisa Herring, Kimberly (Steve) Askam, Anthony Herring, Melissa Herring, Dani Herring and honorary daughter Dea (Jeff) Stratton, along with 25 beloved grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one brother, Kenny (Sue) Kleinmeyer, many extended family, and countless children whose lives she touched.
She was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her husband, Bob; her parents; sister Regina; brothers Charlie, Willard and Robert; and three grandchildren: Brittany Herring, Marco Mougin and Noah Herring.
A funeral service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at 2 PM, Friday, August 22, 2025 at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM- 2 PM, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to Four Oaks (fouroaks.org) in Linda’s honor.
