Linda Marie Crowley, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 17, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, with a vigil service beginning at 4:30 p.m. Private family burial: Holy Cross Cemetery, Keystone. Attendees are asked to wear something blue in Linda's honor.
Linda was born Oct. 27, 1940, the daughter of Arthur and Julia (Siepman) Jagim, in Vinton. She worked for Abbe Inc. for 20-plus years in accounts receivable until her retirement.
Linda was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church and the Woman's Circle. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Linda enjoyed many hobbies, including gardening, video games and playing cards. She also loved watching her children and grandchildren do anything and cheered on the Hawkeyes.
Survivors include her three children, David (Linda) Crowley, James Crowley and Julia Crowley; four grandchildren, Katherine (Kenneth) Wilson, Sean Crowley, Madeline Abu-Nameh and Sarah Abu-Nameh; sister, Lillian (Ed) McGivern; brother, James (Janice) Jagim; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy in memory of Linda.
