Linda Clark was born Dec. 10, 1944, in Anamosa, to Oliver and Velma (Brannaman) Clark. She graduated with the last class of Martelle High in 1962. She later worked as head of housekeeping for Cornell College in Mount Vernon for over 20 years and most recently, at Telecom as an account executive. Linda enjoyed traveling with Mel to Branson on their motorcycles, collecting owl memorabilia and working on projects such as quilting, crocheting and sewing, especially wedding dresses for her nieces. She cherished the time she spent with her family. She also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, Malta Chapter 415 OES, Cedar Rapids, Social Order of Beauceant 87 and Daughter of the Nile 68, all in Cedar Rapids.
