LINDA A. BELL Walker Linda A. Bell, 55, of Walker, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Walker Bible Church. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the church, where friends also may greet the family one hour before the funeral service. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point. Survivors include her husband, Tom of Walker; children, Megan (Brad) Snitkey of Walker, Travis (Kristin) Voss of Coggon, Ashlee Bell of Walker and Dalton Bell of Walker; grandchildren, Isabella, Ava and Owen; mother, Sally Hemphill of Walker; sister, Nina (Bill) Norris of Walker; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. Linda was born Aug. 21, 1961, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of James and Sally (Stark) Hemphill. She graduated from North Linn High School in 1979. On Dec. 4, 1993, Tom and Linda were united in marriage in Walker. She was employed as a birth care technician at St. Luke's Hospital.
