Linda was born May 20, 1948, to Carl and Dolores (Boddicker) Agee in Davenport, Iowa.
She grew up in Spencer and Des Moines, graduating high school in 1966 from St. Joseph Academy in Des Moines. She attended the University of Iowa.
She was united in marriage with Evans McWilliam on May 8, 1976. They had two children, Ezra and Abigail.
Linda was a homemaker who was passionate about loving and caring for her family, who resided for years in Pleasantville, Iowa. She was a devote member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Knoxville, where she worked part-time and volunteered extensively.
Linda and Evans moved to Paton, Iowa, in 1998, and created many memories at their farm, Scotch Acres.
Together she and Evans kept beautiful gardens from which Linda created wonderful meals for her family and friends.
She enjoyed cooking and baking, and especially loved to host family and friends. A regular contributor to the county fair, Linda enjoyed showing off her vegetables and collecting blue ribbons. She also enjoyed all sports and was a loud and proud Iowa Hawkeyes fan. You could often find her driving her golf cart around the acreage enjoying her flowers and gardens. Her grandchildren brought her much joy and she loved spending time with them. She was extremely proud of her family.
Linda and Evans enjoyed bird watching and kept variety of feeders that attracted many species year-round. They would often take drives around Spring Lake to bird and observe other wildlife.
She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved a good time, laughing and entertaining.
Linda was always thinking of others with a deep understanding of what her friends and family enjoyed. She often shopped, baked and mailed care packages and cards to her friends and family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 45 years, Evans; her children, Ezra (Molly) McWilliam of North Liberty, Abigail Pelzer of Marshalltown; stepchildren, Jeb McWilliam of Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Laura Bartak, Van Nuys, Calif.; her grandchildren, Brandon, Mac, Olive and Mary Catherine; her brother, Wally (Mary Ellen) Agee of Indian Land, S.C.; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
