LILLIAN SCHMUTZ

Lillian A. Schmutz, 88, of Muscatine, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Premier Estates.
Visitation will be from 9 until 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Lillian was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Homestead, the daughter of Ernest and Anna Kahler Krakow. She married Ernest P. Schmutz on Nov. 24, 1948, in Marengo. He preceded her in death on March 5, 2010.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Those left to honor her memory include one son, Donald Schumtz and wife Kathy of Noel, Mo.; one daughter, Diane Riggan and husband Michael of Muscatine; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Clarence Krakow and wife Kathy of Belle Plaine and Wayne Krakow and wife Elsie of Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, Carl, Elmer, Dale and George Krakow; and two sisters, Emma Krakow and Betty Wright.
