LILLIAN MARIE MONTGOMERY

Lillian Marie Montgomery, 94, of Watkins, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, in her home. Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will
be in the Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Brosh Chapel.
Lillian was born April 18, 1923, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Frank and Libbie (Lapour) Rocarek. She was united in marriage to Cecil Montgomery on Nov. 30, 1946, in Cedar Rapids. Lillian was a dedicated homemaker to her family. She enjoyed going to bingo, car rides, watching game shows, going out to eat and, most of all, spending time with family and her granddogs, Chloe and Molly.
Lillian is survived by her children, Clifford Montgomery (Becky Christensen) of Cedar Rapids and Ruth Montgomery (Bob Hinkel) of Watkins; her brothers, Robert Rocarek of Palmdale, Calif., and Donald Rocarek of Las Vegas, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Cecil.
