Lila Mae Crinigan (Strickland) died May 20, 2025. She was born June 14, 1934 in Exira, IA to Vera and Joe Strickland. She attended Exira Community Schools and graduated high school there in 1953. Lila attended UNI earning a teacher’s certificate and taught school in Atlantic, Brayton and Exira, IA.
Lila and Richard Crinigan were married in 1955 and had four children, Bernard, Thomas, Beth, and Michael.
Surviving are sons Bernard, of Tucson, AZ, Thomas of Palm Springs, CA, daughter Beth of Phoenix, AZ, and son Michael of Phoenix, AZ, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vera and Joe Strickland and her husband of 61 years, Richard Crinigan.
