Libby G. Dalecky, 91, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
Cedar Rapids, conducted by the Rev. Randy Scheil. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at the funeral home. Burial: Czech Na-tional Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Dennis (Donna) Dalecky and Gary Dalecky, both of Cedar Rapids; grandchild, Abigail (Roy) DeWitt of Cedar Rapids; great-grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Gavin and Levi; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Dalecky; and siblings, Ed (Anna) Machacek and Mary (Delmar) Hocken.
Libby was born Sept. 13, 1922, in Cedar Rapids, daughter of Frank and Anna (Nekous) Machacek. She married Joseph on March 4, 1946, in Cedar Rapids. He died Jan. 7, 2007.
Libby worked as a telephone operator and also at a garden shop.
She loved crafts, gardening roses were her pride, crocheting, listening to Polka music on Sunday mornings, dancing, baking and was a great cook.
Libby was a member of the Czech & Slovak Museum & Library.
