Lewis, Evangeline G. (Noll)
Evangeline G. (Noll) Lewis, 79, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Pastor Laurie Riley will officiate at the service. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Wilcox Cemetery, rural Viola.

Surviving are her children, Patricha (Henry) Girard, Gladys Noll Alvarez, Dinah (Paul) Kasner, Micheal (LaVanda) Noll, Mary Noll and Joe Marie (Reuben) Wass; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; a brother, John (Beth) Koenig; and a sister, Ginny (Merlin) Weber.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Noll; her second husband, Joe Lewis; two sons, Patrick Michael Noll and Ted James Noll; a brother, Clinton “Speed” Koenig; and a sister, Darlene Nelson.
Evangeline was born April 3, 1934, in Stuman, N.D., the daughter of Theodore and Johanna Schultz Koenig. On Nov. 7, 1953, she married Melvin Noll. He preceded her in death. Later, on July 12, 2000, she married Joe Lewis, who also preceded her in death.
She was a CNA and worked for the Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center and later for St. Luke's Home Care. She was a lifelong member of DAV Chapter 10 in Cedar Rapids.
Evangeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed dearly by those closest to her.
