Levendusky, Mildred
Mildred Levendusky, 89, of West Union, formerly of the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center, West Union. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Woods Funeral Home in Fairbank, with the Rev. Sandra Burroughs officiating. Inurnment: Stanley Cemetery, Stanley. Visitation: one hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, James (Karen) Levendusky, Fairbank, Gary (Jeannne Woods) Levendusky, Sumner, and Mitchell Levendusky, Monona; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Venice on Dec. 10, 2006; grandson, David Levendusky; sister and brother in-law, Myra (Glenn) Walters; and stepbrother and wife, Harold and Irene Dravis.
Born Feb. 14, 1921, the daughter of David and Ida (Dravis) Lookabaugh, she married Venice Levendusky on July 14, 1942, in Fairbank. Memorials may be directed to Marfans Foundation.
