Lester Morgan, 53, of Lexington, Miss., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, in Jackson, Miss., due to complications from an accident several years ago. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, Porter & Sons Funeral Home, Lexington, Miss. Burial: family cemetery, Durant, Miss.
Survivors include his father, Joe Morgan Sr.; mother, Lue E. Morgan; son, Morris Morgan; brothers, Joe Jr. and Charlie; sisters, Janice Morgan-Wright and Valerie Morgan-Calhoun; and three grandchildren.
Lester attended school in the Cedar Rapids area before helping with the family farm with his parents in 1980.
