Lester, Florence
Florence Lester, 102, of Mapleton, formerly of Barnes City, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011, at the Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa, following a sudden illness. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, at the Community Church in Barnes City with Marvin Freeborn officiating. Interment will follow at the Barnes City Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
