Allan Ray Lester, 63, of Aplington, formerly of Brooklyn, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center, Grinnell. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 4, at Grace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn, with the Rev. John Reynolds Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn.
A memorial fund has been established.
