Leslie Anne Finnegan Paton, born May 10, 1963, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 21, 2023. Leslie is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Kaylee Renee Rutzebeck (Kris Rutzebeck); her son, Charles Robert Abinsay; her brothers, Charles, Robert and Stephen Finnegan; her cherished grandchildren, Brayden and Kaden Rutzebeck; her beloved dog, Sabrina; and her seven wonderful nieces whom she cherished as much as her children. Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Finnegan; her mother, Betty Anne Finnegan; and her brother David Finnegan.
Those who knew Leslie will fondly remember her as a strong, independent fighter. She faced life's challenges head-on and instilled the same resilience in her children and grandchildren. Leslie's spirit and determination will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, as they continue to honor her memory. The family would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time. There will be no services at this time. Leslie’s legacy of strength, love, and unwavering commitment to her family will forever be remembered and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and warmth of those who have gone before her.
