LeRoy Wolfe, 83, of Lisbon, died Aug. 14, 2014, in Dubuque. LeRoy's funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Morgan Funeral Choices, Mount Vernon. The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until the service. LeRoy will be buried next to his wife, Dorothy, in Lisbon Cemetery.
Surviving are his children, Deanna (Douglas) Brennan, Dubuque, Michael (Michele), Sioux City, Timothy (Kathryn), Blaine, Minn., and Lorrie (Bill) Anderson, Lisbon. LeRoy also is survived by his grandchildren, Robert, Deborah, Emily, William, Timothy, Kaitlynn, Aaron, Kimberly and Kelly; six great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy.
LeRoy was born Nov. 27, 1930, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Gerald and Alice Coleson Wolfe. He married Dorothy Overton on July 18, 1953, in Cedar Rapids. He retired from Evergreen Packaging.
LeRoy was often seen with his wife, Dorothy, while he worked at Lange's Sinclair for 35 years. He also was a beautician, working alongside Dorothy in their salon, Dorothy's Hairdressers, in Mount Vernon.
LeRoy was a member of Lisbon United Methodist Church for many years and belonged to the Masonic Lodge. He also was a member of the UAW Union.
A memorial fund has been established.
