LeRoy F. Frericks, 83, of Dyersville, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave. SW, Dyersville, where a parish vigil service will be at 2 p.m. The fire department will gather at 6 p.m. and the American Legion/VFW service will be at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday, Aug. 17, from 9 to 10 a.m. before the funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate. Military honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 137 and VFW Post 7736.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ruth; in-laws, Rosemary Frericks and Velma Frericks, both of Dyersville; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
