Leota M. Yanda, 97, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at Heritage Specialty Care. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Teahen Funeral Home by Michelle Tressel. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
Leota was born on Dec. 10, 1921, in Cedar Rapids. She married Leo Yanda on Jan. 23, 1941.
Leota is survived by her daughters, Mary Moore-Goldsberry and Vivian Yanda-Cruise; her brother, Clifford Moore; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; her sons, Donald and Clifford Yanda; and her brothers, John, Hillard, Bobby and Mike Moore.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
