Leonard "Nick" Kint, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at his home. Services at 11 a.m. Friday, May 2, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park
Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Gregory of Mount Vernon; daughter, Janis (Scott) Netser of Cedar Rapids; brother, Maynard (Gladys) of Manchester; a sister,
Natalie Kroupa of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Landon Netser of Cedar Rapids; and a great-grandson, Brody.
He is also survived by, Coleen Kint, Tim (Beth) Mosier amd Riley and Payton.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Jeffrey.
Nick was born June 11, 1925, in Goodell, the son of Orva and Mary Ruka Kint. He married Edna Kulhavy on June 26, 1948, in Cedar Rapids. Edna passed away in 2012.
Nick worked in sales at Universal Engineering for over 47 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion, the Elks and proudly served in the Army during World War II.
A memorial fund has been established.
