Leona Finger, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at Eiler Place in Clarinda, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at the Chapel of Memories Stateroom. Interment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the family.
Leona was born Aug. 13, 1925, in Jones County, Iowa, to George and Clara Fechtman Moenck. She was married to Irving Finger. Leona was employed by Square D for over 20 years.
Leona enjoyed outdoor cooking, traveling with her husband, taking care of her two chihuahuas and spending time with her family.
Leona will be missed by her grandchildren, Johnny (Mellissa) Farar, Jeremy (Myla) Farar and Brad Finger; her great-grandchildren, Alexander, Jaycub, Quaid and Chase Farar and Ellie Finger; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Larry Finger, and her daughter, Pamela Sue Landuyt.
