Leona Martha Behrle, 89, of Tipton, died peacefully in her home Monday, March 31, 2014, with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton, with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be offered in the funeral home, following the graveside committal service. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Fry Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy Iowa City or to the family.
