Leona B. Baack, 96, of Marengo, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, May 31, St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo, with Pastor Andrew Gray officiating. Inurnment will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 30, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
A memorial fund has been established.
Leona is survived by a nephew, Dennis Baack of Marion; three nieces, Donna Krebs (David) of Webster, Darla Baack (James Hilton) of Jacksonville, Ore., and RoxAnn Hiam (Robert) of Castle Rock, Colo.; and great-nieces and nephews, Don Sawin, Jenny Hahn (Dean), Eric Krebs, Paul Hiam and Carissa Hiam; and great-great-nieces and nephews, Zane, Zoe, Cera and Eden Hahn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gesine Brockshus Baack; and two brothers and their wives, Walter and Margaret Baack and Marvin and Shirley Baack.
