Leo A. Daniels, 89, of Coralville, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at the Iowa City VA Health Care System.
Leo was born Nov. 5, 1925, in Webster County, Mo. He spent his working career in the welding profession. Following retirement, he enjoyed working for the Corps of Engineers at the Coralville Reservoir, where he made many friends over the years.
Survivors closest to Leo include his grandson and his family, Brian and Cindy Jackson and their daughters, Brittany and Baylee; Leo's dearest friend, Bernice Augustine; and a host of other family members and friends from church.
Leo had requested no services at the time of his death. Cremation services were provided through Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
